Donald Trump said that if he been President of the United States instead of President Obama, the Islamic State (ISIS) wouldn’t have expanded after the U.S. pulled out of Iraq because he would have taken the oil. “Take the oil,” Trump declared when asked what he plans to do after defeating ISIS during NBC’s Commander-in-Chief forum on Wednesday night. Trump said he believes Obama failed in the manner he pulled American troops out of the Middle East and that he would have taken the oil because ISIS formed based on that wealth, according to the Republican nominee. “ISIS would not have been able to take oil and use that oil to fuel themselves,” he explained.

Donald Trump told The O'Reilly Factor that he's not feeling any pressure to release his tax returns. "Nobody cares about it except some of the folks in the media. Nobody cares about it," Trump said. He said that when the "routine" audit on his taxes is complete, he'll release his returns. "I don't know when that's going to be, but when the audit is complete, I'll release my returns. I have no problem with it. It doesn't matter." Trump questioned how Hillary Clinton could demand Trump release his returns while she has 33,000 emails she deleted "When is she going to release her emails? She probably knows how to find it. Let her release her emails and I'll release my tax returns immediately."

When asked if some of the 11 million undocumented immigrants could stay, Trump replied, "It could be but what’s going to happen is if you’re going to be a citizen, you’re going to leave and you're going to have to come back." Muir followed up, asking about undocumented immigrants who did not want to become citizens of the U.S. "They have to make a determination what happens when the border is secure," Trump said. "So you’re open to them staying here undocumented?" Muir asked. "I’m going to make a decision, or somebody will. Whether it’s me or somebody else because by that time we’ll have a secure border, we’ll have a wall," Trump said.

Mike Pence said that undocumented immigrants in the United States would be treated "humanely" in a Donald Trump administration. "We're going to enforce the laws of this country. We're going to make sure that we essentially end illegal immigration once and for all," Pence said in an interview with NBC's Meet The Press. "And when all of that happens, then, as a nation, he said we can give consideration to how we resolve issues around those that remain. We'll do it humanely. We'll do it with the compassion of the American people."Pence said. "The United States of America is the most powerful economy on the face of the Earth. Access to our economy is enormously valuable to Mexico and every other country in the world," Pence said. "The one thing Donald Trump knows is how to do a deal,"

Some Flint residents have complained of health problems they blame on drinking the water after the city, under a state-appointed emergency manager, shifted its water supply from the Detroit system to the Flint River. “I think it’s a horror show that it was allowed to happen and to be honest with you it should have never, ever been allowed to happen,” Trump said Saturday in an interview with The Detroit News. “That was really the problem.” Trump said “I will be visiting Flint,” Trump told The News. “This is a situation that would have never happened if I were president.”

In an interview with WFLA on Friday afternoon, shortly after his meeting with 14 black business leaders at a church-affiliated hall in North Philadelphia, the Republican presidential nominee twice attacked Kenney for what he emphatically described as “a terrible job” as mayor. “You look at the way, look, I’m in Philadelphia. I went to school here. I know the city very well. To see how far it’s gone down, the inner cities and the neighborhood where we’re in right now, I can’t even believe it. I mean, the fact is your mayor has done a terrible job,” he said. “Look at your crime statistics. Look at your education statistics. Your mayor has done a terrible job. I don’t the mayor, know not much about him. But the mayor of Philadelphia has done one terrible job.”

Donald Trump joined The O'Reilly Factor to talk about his meeting with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto. "It was a very successful day for myself and for the United States, and hopefully for Mexico, too. We can absolutely work with them," he said. Trump says Peña Nieto disagrees about who's going to pay for the wall, but that's a "negotiation." Trump said. "And I will tell you that the United States will not be paying for the wall. Mexico will be paying for the wall." He also took a moment to respond to Hillary Clinton's criticism that he "failed his first foreign test."

To fund construction of a new U.S. border wall, Donald Trump and senior advisers are considering various ideas, including the use of assets seized from drug cartels and others in the illicit drug trade. As the debate over who will pay for the wall dominates the discussion on cable news, sources involved in the pre-planning of the GOP nominee’s Mexico trip told LifeZette the Trump camp is looking for innovative ways to pay for the construction of the border wall — ways that both countries can support. Sensitivities in Mexico regarding Trump’s visit, and specifically paying for the border wall, are running high.

Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump spoke exclusively to NBC4’s Olivia Fecteau backstage before speaking at a rally at the Roberts Centre on Thursday. Trump told WCMH he wouldn’t consider amnesty for undocumented immigrants. “What we’re going to do is build the wall,” Trump said. “We’re going to stabilize people from coming in.
