In the debate, Trump repeatedly challenged Clinton over where she had heard that, then dismissed Clinton's comment that Machado would vote for her with "OK, good." Trump told "Fox and Friends" it was a "real problem" when Machado gained significant weight after winning the pageant he then owned. He added that Machado was "the worst we ever had. The worst. The absolute worst. She was impossible." Trump said. "She was the winner, and she gained a massive amount of weight, and it was a real problem... not only that, her attitude," Trump said. "And Hillary went back into the years and... found the girl and talked about her like she was Mother Teresa, and it wasn't quite that way, but that's OK. Hillary has to do what she has to do." Machado went on a diet in 1997 after saying she gained at least 15 pounds. Trump said during Machado's workout in front of the media that year that "she likes to eat — like all of us" and supported her weight-loss efforts.

Police-involved shootings spurred protests this week from Charlotte, North Carolina to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Donald Trump weighed in on the shootings during an interview with the FOX Business Network’s Lou Dobbs. Trump said that the U.S. needs more unity in order to see a cease in the number of violent protests. “We are very divided country in many ways, but we don’t have unity and we don’t have jobs and we don’t have education. And we need things like jobs and education to get that whole situation taken care of or it’s only going to get worse,” Trump said even though he is a supporter of the police, he believes the shooting in Tulsa, was a mistake and understands why the police officer responsible was being charged by prosecuters. “It looked like she [Police Officer] certainly did something very wrong and whether she choked, which happens people choke and maybe she choked or she couldn’t handle the pressure or something went very, very wrong. But it just looked like that man did nothing wrong. I mean he walked with his hands up slowly; put his hands on the car. I just don’t see how they could have possibly shot him,”

Calling the country "very divided and getting worse," Donald Trump said this morning that the country needs a message of unity. Speaking to Fox & Friends by phone, Trump called for the implementation of "stop-and-frisk" policies in inner cities, specifically citing Chicago. "You have to do something. It can't continue the way it's going," he said, calling it "unbelievable" that it isn't used in Chicago, where there have been 3,000 shootings this year. "It's worse than some of the places we're hearing about like Afghanistan, war-torn nations," he said. Trump said the controversial policy, implemented in New York City under former Mayor Rudy Giuliani, will allow police officers to identify people with guns and "take the gun away."
