Donald Trump said on Tuesday that Democrat Hillary Clinton's plan for Syria would "lead to World War Three," because of the potential for conflict with military forces from nuclear-armed Russia. In an interview focused largely on foreign policy, Trump said defeating Islamic State is a higher priority than persuading Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to step down, playing down a long-held goal of U.S. policy. "What we should do is focus on ISIS. We should not be focusing on Syria," said Trump as he dined on fried eggs and sausage at his Trump National Doral golf resort. "You’re going to end up in World War Three over Syria if we listen to Hillary Clinton. "You’re not fighting Syria any more, you’re fighting Syria, Russia and Iran, all right? Russia is a nuclear country, but a country where the nukes work as opposed to other countries that talk," he said.

The Republican nominee said he will win Florida, a place he calls his second home. "I’m in Florida all the time. There are tremendous businesses in Florida. They employ a lot of people," Trump said. "They’re all very happy. They like Trump." Trump explained he feels he has more support among women than national media outlets report. He also said he thinks his support from Marco Rubio is helping the Republican in his bid for re-election to his U.S. Senate seat. “I hear Marco is doing very well,” Trump said. “We have a very good relationship. I think he’s going to win. And part of the reason I think he’s going to win is because we are very much in sync. And we have very good polls in Florida, so does he.” Donald Trump said the bottom line is that he loves America and that’s why he entered the race in last June.

Trump then spoke briefly to The Palm Beach Post before heading to rallies in St. Augustine and Tampa. Trump was asked if he’s confident that the election in Florida will be fair. "Well, I hope so. I think so and I hope so and I believe Florida is in pretty good shape. I think a lot of other places in the country certainly aren’t,” Trump said. “But we do have a rigged system with the media the way it is and with all of the things happening.” President Barack Obama has taken steps to thaw relations with Cuba, but Trump said he disapproves. “I think the deal that Obama is making is a terrible deal for the Cuban people and for the Cuban people that are living here. And I wouldn’t want to do anything with Cuba – that’s why I’ve never done anything with Cuba – I wouldn’t want to do anything with Cuba unless the proper deal is made,”Asked if he plans to file individual lawsuits, Trump told The Palm Beach Post: “We’ll see. We’ll see. These were made up lies. This is total fabrication – just made up lies. I’m talking about jobs, I’m talking about ISIS, I’m talking about so many other things but in that case they’re just made up lies and fabrications so we’ll do what we have to do at the right time.”

A discussion about Trump’s belief he will win, his thoughts about losing, and how this campaign has changed him. "I think in many ways I’ve become a little bit jaded, more jaded toward the press at the same time I’m so honored by having met so many people, millions of people throughout the country. We have phenomenal people in this country." Part of the interview included a discussion of U.S.-Cuba policy and his company’s possible business dealings with Cuba.

Donald Trump lashed out Friday at coverage of his campaign, saying that the press was attempting to "poison the voters" by publishing allegations that he had sexually assaulted women in the past. "Just so you understand, all that stuff it was fabricated, made up, never happened," Trump told Fox News' Sean Hannity on 'Hannity'. "It never happened. It’s not like a question of it may have, none of it ever happened." Trump tied the accusations back to emails linked by Wikileaks that showed close professional ties between members of the media and high-ranking Clinton campaign officials. "Look at what came out today about the New York Times where they have reporters that are soft or safe or something," Trump said. "I have those same reporters and they are brutal. They’re not brutal, they’re dishonest." Trump added. "This is dirty, disgusting stuff. And it’ll be revealed at some point ... And you know what, it’s no way that it should be. We’re supposed to be a great democracy."

Moments before addressing a packed house at the Delaware County Fairgrounds, Trump talked with WCMH Colleen Marshall about the race so far. "We’re going to lower taxes substantially for Ohio and everybody else. Our taxes were the highest taxed action anywhere in the world, so we are gong to lower taxes, very very substantially. We are also going to lower business taxes. The businesses now are leaving. They are going to Mexico and everywhere else because the taxes are so high." Trump said "We have a GDP of around one percent. You saw the last quarter it was around one percent which is record setting low." Trump went on to paint a bright future if elected. "Look, we are going to have a tremendous GDP. Its going to be four percent, maybe four and a half percent. If that happens, then our nation will be booming again. We have the weakest recovery in our nation since the depression since the great depression. People are looking for jobs." Trump said. "Our manufacturing has been stripped out of our country. Our jobs have been taken out of our country. So my plan is lowering taxes. Hillary Clinton wants to raise taxes. They don’t like her plan very much."

Donald Trump told Newmax TV on Tuesday that he expected to spend his last debate with Hillary Clinton on Wednesday defending himself against sexual assault allegations instead of discussing important issues facing the United States. "I don't want to be defensive," the Republican presidential candidate told "The Joe Pags Show" in an interview. "I'll probably have to defend myself because they like this stuff. "It's sexier." Trump and Clinton will meet for the third time at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. It will be moderated by Chris Wallace of Fox News. "But it's very unimportant — and I've said it 100 times, none of these things exist," he told Pags of the assault accusations. "Much of it's been debunked. "It's a shame I have to waste time discussing it.

Donald Trump expressed "disappointment" with GOP leadership Tuesday, slamming Speaker Paul Ryan for being "naïve" or "something worse than that" for disagreeing with Trump's assertion of a rigged election. Trump made the comments on conservative talk radio host Mike Gallagher's show, saying, "I'm very disappointed in leadership in terms of the Republicans . . . not the people, the people get it." Trump, citing a report there are now 4 million dead people registered to vote. "And Paul Ryan gets up and issues a memo that he disagrees that the election's rigged. Why doesn't he walk over to Philadelphia and St. Louis, or Chicago," Trump told Gallagher. "And how could he say the election is . . . look, nothing's perfect. But this process is unbelievable. . . . So why would he issue a memo the election's . . . is he naïve? Because that's naivete.
