Brock Mealer

BY DETROIT PRESS

Brock Mealer was told by doctors that his chances of walking again after a car accident that claimed the lives of his father and brother’s girlfriend stood, optimistically, at 1%. Mealer compared those odds to the ones faced by Donald Trump, just hours before Trump formally accepts nomination as the Republican presidential nominee. “Guess who else was told he had a 1% chance?” Mealer said. “A company that analyzes polling data for CNN predicted last year that Donald Trump had a 1% chance of winning the Republican nomination for president.” To cheers, Mealer happily acknowledged that Trump, too, had overcome the odds. “Mr. Trump, welcome to the club,” he said.

MAKE AMERICA FIRST AGAIN DAY 3 - Rafael Eduardo Crùz (Sen, TX) was booed during his speech Wednesday night at the Republican National Convention for not endorsing the Republican nominee Donald Trump. The crowd chanted for Rafael “endorse Trump, endorse Trump” as Crùz went through his prepared remarks without explicitly endorsing Trump. Boos and commotion could be heard on the floor for about the last ten minutes of his speech. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie criticized the speech as “awful” and “selfish.” And that Crùz signed a pledge, and it’s his job to keep his word. Roger Stone is calling him a “dumb son of a bitch” and a “despicable human being.” Crùz offered an awkward laugh as Trump upstaged him, then Crùz shamefully walked off the stage.
