Donald Trump pledged to take an America-first approach to governing Thursday, contending that "globalism" has failed U.S. workers. Stressing that it's time to take care of the American people, the businessman painted a prosperous picture of the country's future under his leadership while rallying supporters at Laconia Middle School. "It's time to break from the bitter failures of the past and to embrace a new, inclusive and truly prosperous American future," he said. "Jobs will return, incomes will rise and new factories will come back -- and they will come back rushing to our shores." Trump said. "Finally, we will give people struggling with addiction access to the help they need." Trump said. "Congress has already taken the first step by passing the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act. This legislation is an important step." Trump said. "Together, these steps will ensure that every American struggling with addiction has access to the care and the help that he or she needs. But, if we are going to bring hope back to our communities, we not only have to solve our drug crisis but our economic crisis." In closing Trump said. "The wealth has been raided from our country, leaving behind dilapidated communities, rusted out factories, and shattered dreams."

Donald Trump tells a crowd of young Ohio voters his program to revive the economy would solve the college debt program to free them to live normal lives and raise families. Young Americans need a fighting chance, he said. “We also have to make sure that those who have graduated college and those who are soon to graduate can find a good job to start a good career when they do,” he said. “First, we will lower the cost of college and solve the student loan crisis,” he said. “Tuition at public four-year institutions was 40 percent higher in the last school year than it was 10 years ago.” Trump said too many young Americans leave college buried in debt. “Students should not be asked to pay more on their loans than they can afford, and the debt should not be an albatross around their necks for the rest of their lives,” he said. “That is why under my student loan program, we would cap repayment to an affordable portion of a borrower’s income–12.5 percent and if borrowers work hard and make their full payments for 15 years, we will let them get on with their lives,” Trump said in addition to addressing the debt burden crushing young Americans, his administration would force colleges cut costs in light of tremendous amount of taxpayers’ money they receive.

Vowing to do away with political correctness in the military, Donald Trump promised to increase military spending as he denounced the efforts of the Obama Administration against the Islamic State, arguing that Hillary Clinton would just represent more of the same, if elected. Trump started his event in Herndon, Virginia by pledging a full review of U.S. cyber security efforts in government are stepped up to another level. “Hillary Clinton’s only experience in cyber security involves her criminal scheme to violate federal law,” as Trump mocked her use of a private email server during her time as Secretary of State. “It’s just one more example of why she is totally unfit to hold the office of President,” Trump took questions from a series of retired military officers, echoing their assertions that the Army is too small, and that the U.S. has not done enough to target Islamic terror groups like ISIS.

Donald Trump addressed a packed house at a rally in Bedford, New Hampshire Thursday afternoon where he blasted Hillary Clinton, whom he said is “there for only one reason: to protect her donors and take their money.” Trump said. “Hillary Clinton  is an insider fighting only for herself and her donors. I’m an outsider fighting for you,” Trump said, contrasting himself with his rival for the presidency. “Follow the money,” he continued, hitting on a theme that has been central to his criticism of Clinton. “The large corporations who support terrible trade deals… they’re donating to Hillary Clinton. It’s called follow the money,” Trump continued. “The special interests who want open borders are donating to Hillary Clinton. Just follow the money,” he added. Trump also criticized Clinton for the contempt she shows average, everyday Americans. “Hillary Clinton slanders you as deplorable and irredeemable. You don’t look deplorable, irredeemable to me,”  Trump told the cheering crowd.

Donald Trump addressed the American families victimized by open borders that have been “forced into the shadows” by both establishment politicians and media elites. “Help is coming,” Trump told the angel families, assuring them that “their loved ones will not have died in vain.” Trump honored the “stolen American lives” and pledged to “advocate for justice on behalf of all American victims.” Trump explained that contrary to the corporate media’s narrative, it is these American victims who have been “truly forced into the shadows.” Trump said. "Your stories are not featured in the news. You don’t have demonstrators taking to the streets on your behalf. You have no special interests taking up your cause. And the politicians ignore your cries for help. But I never will. I will never" Trump said.

The Republican nominee says it’s time for “a national goal of reaching four percent economic growth,” and that all economic policies during a Trump administration will be tested on whether or not American jobs are created. “Under this American System, every policy decision we make must pass a simple test: does it create more jobs and better wages for Americans?” he declared at an event hosted by the Economic Club of New York at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City on Thursday. “I’m running to be the president of the United States of America,” he added, clarifying he’s not running for president of the world. “I will fight for every last American job” and American companies, he vowed. “We’re going to be fighting for you because you’re bringing the jobs.”

Donald Trump rolled out a plan Tuesday aimed at making child care more affordable, guaranteeing new mothers six weeks of paid maternity leave and suggesting new incentives for employees to provide their workers childcare. "We need working mothers to be fairly compensated for their work, and to have access to affordable, quality child care for their kids," Trump said in Aston, Pennsylvania. "These solutions must update laws passed more than half a century ago when most women were still not in the labor force." A proposal to allow families with a stay-at-home parent to qualify for the deduction and to include costs associated with caring for elderly dependent relatives. The deduction would apply only to individuals earning $250,000 or less, or $500,000 or less if filing jointly. But because Trump's proposal is a tax deduction rather than credit, its greatest benefits would go to affluent households. Trump also proposed incentives for employers to provide child-care options at work.
